Michel RAMEZ, born in 1953, is a graduate of ICG, High Management Business School.
He began his career in 1976 in Alkan, today member of MBDA group, as Purchasing Manager for electronic components and sub-contractor activity. He moved to Souriau as Area Manager where he launched Northern France office and developed rail, military and electronics business, then he continued his action upon commercial and military aerospace and nuclear markets within SNC, Souriau affiliate.
In 1988 he was appointed as Business Development Manager of Amphenol Socapex. He developed European projects (Airbus, Eurocopter) and increased Amphenol position in Eastern Europe, Russia and China. He was member of Gifas technical working group.
He joined Draka Fileca as Sales and Marketing Director in 1994 where he implemented EDI supply-chain project with Airbus and its sub-contractors. He managed logistic added-value with Otis. He was Pilot of US Arinc 664 connector and cable working group for the development of Avionic Ethernet in-board.
In 2001 he joins Hypertac SA and develops commercial and industrial partnerships with key OEM as EADS Group (Airbus/Power connector - MBDA/performance supplier contract - Astrium/European agreement), Alstom Italy/connector standardisation project, Thales project, Bombardier/Class A preferred supplier.
He manages the Distribution development programme in Europe and India.
In co-operation with Hypertronics US, he has been starting to support new local team and distribution network in China.
Michel's commercial team has also introduced new innovative products such as A380 power connectors, ERTMS Cab Radio for railways. He is managing Hypertac world wide rail working group .
He is President of the Gixel e-business working group (French Electronic Components Industry Association).
Leader of TICIO SCM project managed by Fien organisation (filére des industries électroniques et numériques) part of Tic e-pme programme developed with French industry authorities.
Member of AFnet committee since December 2006.
